Aviation industry already has a number of initiatives targeted at boosting staff motivation. Employee recognition programmes are in place to commend and honour the efforts of employees who go beyond the call of duty to add value to the organization. ‘HR Open Days’ are also in place where employees are given a platform to raise their concerns and resolve issues by reaching out to the management. A Staff Feedback System gives due prominence to the thoughts of employees to improve the operational functions of the respective organizations operating under this industry. An Art and Culture Club was also launched recently to create a platform where employees can relieve the strains of their office routine and explore their creative talents (Aviation Industry, 2018). However, in my opinion these initiatives should be more strengthen in light of talent management within this industry where higher turnover can be experience in past few years.
